Jessie Rodriguez elected to Assembly for 21st District
Republican Jessie Rodriguez defeated Democrat Elizabeth Coppola on Tuesday in a special election for the 21st District Assembly seat vacated by former Rep. Mark Honadel (R-South Milwaukee). Rodriguez, outreach coordinator for Hispanics for School Choice, received 4,546 votes, and Coppola, a United Way fundraiser and former member of Milwaukee's Social Development Commission, received 3,520, according to preliminary results.
